GFA officials influence the selection of national team players- Osei Palmer

The bankroller of Tema Youth FC, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has accused GFA officials for playing a part in the selection of of national team players.

He also added that the selfish interests has hampered the progress of the national teams.

In an interview with Daily Graphic, he noted that some of the players who have played in the senior national team do not fit to be there.

“This is an open secret that GFA officials influence the selection of players into the national team. There are some players who come to the national team but are not fit to be in the team.”

He added: “We have so many missing pieces and selfish interest which are the drivers as far as most personalities in the Black Stars and the GFA are concerned."
