GFA asked for my CV on WhatsApp but I didn’t get any feedback – Richard Kingston

Former Black Stars goalkeeper’s trainer, Richard Kingston has expressed his disappointment on the ‘ill’ treatment meted out to him by the Ghana Football Association.

According to the former Black Stars goalkeeper, the GFA didn’t treat him well by not getting back to him after he was asked to send his CV and certificate in a WhatsApp communication.

Though disappointed in how things turned out with his stay in the national team as a backroom staff, he still thanked the GFA for allowing him to serve.

"I am always grateful to have had the opportunity to serve the national team as the trainer for goalkeepers but what hurt me was the manner in which my appointment was terminated”

“I received a WhatsApp message one fine Monday from the GFA to furnish them with my CV and certificates. I did that and never heard from the GFA again. The next thing I heard was that the technical teams of national teams have been dissolved. This is not how things should be done. It really hurt me." He told Fox FM.
