The Ghana Education Service (GES) is currently undergoing the process of posting teachers who passed the 2018 Licensure Examination.

According to the GES, postings will be completed and made public by end of November, 2019.

GES noted in a statement that only persons who completed Colleges of Education and passed all necessary examinations in 2018 will be posted.

They also charged all teachers who will be placed this year to accept their place of posting, and serve in the best interest of Ghana.

“The GES reserves the right to post teachers to where their services are needed.”

The Ghana Education Service further warned the teachers to be wary of middlemen who promise to aid them with their postings at a fee.

“The general public is therefore cautioned not to make any payments to persons who promise to facilitate their posting process.”

This year’s postings, the GES said, will take University Graduates into consideration.

However, only graduates with Basic Education and Early Childhood certificates will be considered.
