Family and friends gathered together recently for the traditional funeral rites of Oheneyere Obaapanin Nana Yaa Adoma, aged 110 which took place at the Cocoa House in the Bronx, New York.

The special guests were Nana Konadu Yiadom, New York Asantefuohemaa, Nana Ampofowaah, Denyasehemaa and many New York Asantefuo sub-chiefs.

The Master of Ceremonies was Washington Metro's finest; Nana Aduanaba Kwaku Frimpong and on the wheel of steel was New York's pioneer DJ, Katabo.

Oheneyere Obaapanin Nana Yaa Adoma was the mother-in-law to Nana Akua of Bronx, New York who made it possible for the event to be featured
