Recently family and friends gathered for the traditional funeral rites of Opanin Kwaku Duah aged 73 who died and was buried in Ghana. The event occurred at the Gambia House, Bronx, NY. Among the various organizations in attendance to offer their support to the bereaved family were; Mampong Kontonkyi Association, Young Adult Association and Oseikrom Association. The children of Opanin Kwaku Duah who organized the funeral were; Kofi Owusu, John Agyemang, Joyce Agyemang and Ama Sarpong-Duah aka Maame May.
