It is sad to lose a mother as we have only one and is irreplaceable. Michael Acheampong popularly known worldwide as Michael Acheampong (aka Makaveli, Coke cheese) who is based in Delaware, USA suddenly losts his mother; Madam Cecilia Acheampong and auntie in Ghana. On April 22nd, 2006, friends and sympathizers from of all over the USA defied the heavy rain and came in their numbers to offer their support at the final funeral rites held at a location in Wilmington, Delaware. Madam Cecilia Acheampong died on January 19th in Kumasi, Ashanti.
Michael is a very friendly and great young man who always attend events whenever invited and the event proved that indeed one hand washes the other. In a phone conversation with this writer, Michael was impressed and expressed his appreciation for the outpouring of support from friends and sympathizers who defied the heavy rain to attend the funeral. Michael's mother would be proud with such a great tribute from his friends. Among the noted personalities present were; Derek Prempeh aka Big Boy, Nana Prempeh (Snr), Eugene Duah, Dr. Kofi Sarpong, Frank Oppong Buadu, Barimaba aka Evion, DJ Willies, Chief (DE), Lady D, Vasco, Bernard, Shaddai, Boss Kriki and many others.
Michael would like to take this opportunity to express his sincere gratitude to all for the immense support. Even though his mother is gone forever, deep in his heart, he truly believes that she is somewhere in heaven rejoicing and watching over him.
