Eric Kojo Duah was arrested Saturday morning Eric Kojo Duah was arrested Saturday morning

After unleashing live bullets to kill two uniformed policemen on duty, Eric Kojo Duah , who sought cover behind a “big plaster” has been smoked out

Duah, who was declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly shooting Sergent Eric Dzamesi and Lance Corporal Mohammed Awal, had been in hiding since Wednesday afternoon until luck run out on him Saturday morning.

His arrest comes barely hours after the Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the Chairman of the Police Council indicated that, the cop killers “can run but can’t hide”.

The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong Boanuh even placed a GH¢ 10,000 bounty on his head.

Eric Kojo Duah has however been arrested in the Eastern region when he tried to cross into the Volta region via Akosombo on board a black Golf car.

” Policemen detailed on duty at the Atimpoku Bridge were alerted to arrest the occupants of a black Golf car with registration number GW-5972-18 heading towards the Volta region”, a police signal sighted by Mynewsgh.com read.

There was a big brown plaster on the left side of his face, ostensibly to disguise himself; but it rather gave him away.

The heavily built Kojo Duah has been captured in pictures at a police station sporting only a grayish boxer short with his hands cuffed to his back and sandwiched between two police officers after his arrest.

He is currently been transported to the National Police Headquarters in Accra.
