Fresh Tape Captures Otabil Mocking Akufo-Addo

Explosive!!!

Fresh Tape Captures Pastor Otabil Making Mockery Of Akufo-Addo’s “Lie-Lie” Free SHS

News Desk Report

Pastor Mensa Otabil and Reverend Kofi Okyere may be thinking that their Public Relations gimmick last week has succeeded cleansing the image of the embattled General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, from the sinking ship of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) empty propaganda.

As fate would have it, and because “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”, Pastor Mensa Otabil has once again spoken his mind pouring scorn on Nana Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS political confidence trick.

If Reverend Kofi Okyere would have us believe that the tape that did the rounds last week captured the thoughts of Pastor Mensa Otabil 10 years ago, The Informer is in possession of a recording that was done as recently as October 23, 2012, on which Otabil is heard clearly making mockery of Nana Akufo-Addo’s gargantuan Free SHS bunkum.
Preaching the 5th in a series he has themed “Wholesome Living”, Pastor Mensa Otabil touched on wide range of issues; including the need for parents to endeavour to give their children more and better opportunities than they (the parents) had, when growing up.
Speaking to the issue of giving children the best of opportunities, Pastor Otabil said that if Ghanaians make a mistake and vote for free education, they will pay a very high price for it.
“These days they say education will be free … Ha! Ha! Ha! The free one, the free one, ha! Ha! the free one, free is good but I think that if you really want to give your children education you are going to pay, you will pay: … Ha! Ha! Ha!”
Sounding very excited that he was speaking from the bottom of his heart and speaking the truth, Pastor Otabil had a good time making a mockery of Akufo-Addo and his so-called Free SHS promise.
According to Mensa Otabil, if Ghanaians make a mistake and fall for the Free SHS hooey, they will regret the kind of watery knowledge that their children will acquire.
“You will have to pay for the education of your children otherwise the kind of knowledge they will bring home to you … ha! Ha! Ha!” Pastor Otabil said.
According to Pastor Mensa Otabil, it would be suicidal for Ghanaians to believe that education will be free up to the university level, and so would start giving birth “by heart”.
“… I don’t think a man should say, I can now produce more children because of free education. You have to be more responsible and have to go the extra mile for your children: that is the least you can do”, a fired-up Mensa Otabil said without fear or favour.
The NPP Flagbearer is currently on a lying spree promising Free SHS, Free NHIS, Free houses, Free transport, etc., and his lies have caught up with him.
Nana Akufo-Addo has no message for Ghanaians, hence his promise that everything will be free in Ghana.
Indeed, there are those who believe that there is no difference between Nana Akufo-Addo and Madam Akua Donkor, because, both of them believe that everything should be free in Ghana.
As for Madam Akua Donkor, she believes that Ghana should have a free port so that all manner of things can be imported into Ghana, free.
Now that Pastor Mensa Otabil has been captured a second time condemning Nana Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS claptrap, it would be interesting to see how the NPP reacts to this latest startling condemnation of the unrealistic promises of its flagbearer.
Indeed, it would also be interesting to see how Reverend Kofi Okyere and ICGC respond to this latest voice of their General Overseer,
Having seriously embarrassed himself, his boss, and the ICGC, via the needless Press Release last week, it is not expected that Reverend Kofi Okyere would attempt another Public Relations stunt, which would only end up further destroying the image of Pastor Mensa Otabil.
Stay tuned as we bring you more juicy updates as to why the General Overseer of ICGC disagrees with Nana Akufo-Addo and his own party, as regards the FREE SHS educational policy being advocated.
