Founding members to play active role in running NDC

Mr. Kofi Mintah, a found-member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed concern about the lukewarm attitude by some founding members towards the party.

He reminded them that they have a stake in the party, and therefore urged them to be up and doing to help move it forward.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Winneba, Mr Mintah said: "The party belongs to we the founder members,” and therefore urged them to contribute their quota towards building it.

He advised them to educate the public to know that the hardships the nation was passing through was not peculiar to Ghana, but that it was a global problem.

Mr. Mintah, former Central Regional Chairman of the party, said it was organizing an outreach programme to explain the current conditions in the nation to the people, and urged the founder members to get actively involved in the programme.

Mr. Mintah appealed to Ghanaians to exercise restraint as the government tries to solve the problems.

He urged them to stop discrediting the government as that could scare investors from investing in the country.
