Crocked Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is set to be offered a new contract with the English Premier League giants.

The 23-year old rare guard suffered a ligament injury to his knee which has kept him out of action for the past seven months.

The Ghanaian born Dutch international was loaned out to Crystal Palace in the 2017-18 season where he played a total of 24 games.

During the past season, Fosu-Mensah was again sent out on loan to the Premier League new boys Fulham but an injury came to put an end to his good momentum.

To date, Fosu-Mensah has not played for seven months, although his rehabilitation seems to be on the right track.

According to information from the English newspaper 'The Sun', the Red Devils have made the decision to offer him an extension of contract, since his current contract ends at the end of the year.

Fosu-Mensah was promoted to the United first team in 2016 and has since played 21 official matches with the first team.
