Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand has emphatically stated three heads of public institutions will soon be hauled before courts and thrown into jail for engaging in alleged underhand dealings while in office.

He singled out the former Director of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) Mr Ernest Thompson as the first considering what is alleged to have happened under his watch.

“People have been arguing with me when I speak but the evidence is enormous that I don’t know where to start from. I am emphatic based on the documents we have. If we don’t punish these people for their wrong doings, NPP officials will come and do same and Ghanaians will vote against us.

The Maverick Politician and lawmaker for Assin Central Constituency in the Central region, has promised to release a tall list of various heads of public institutions involved in shady deals under the erstwhile NDC administration.

“The documents are here and we shall be interrogating them in the coming days. Ghanaians will be shocked when details of these documents are made public. They will see the havoc these NDC appointees have wrecked the economy of the country which Nana Addo must struggle to build”, he disclosed.

About 5 people are currently being investigated by the Economic and Organized Crime Organization (EOCO) for their involvement in the acquisition of a BOS software for the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) at $66 million.

Reports say the software was to network all branches of SSNIT across the country to enable them to receive data directly to the headquarters and enhance efficiency.

The Board of SSNIT has since engaged the services of an audit firm, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) to audit the transaction.
