Former President John Agyekum Kufour has demonstrated his readiness to vote out the Mahama-led government by verifying his name on the Voters Register.

He cross-checked his name on the register on Friday at an exhibition centre in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency of which he’s a constituent. The exhibition of the Voter Register which started Monday July 18 and ends on August 7, 2016, is to enable all voters to check their names in the register.

The exhibition exercise is taking place in 29,000 polling stations across the country. This year’s exhibition is lasting for 21 days instead of the usual 14 days.

The exercise will also provide the opportunity for correction of the dates on the cards of less than 100 people whose cards were dated wrongly as a result of system errors during the limited voter registration exercise held in April this year.
