A Former Ashanti Regional Minister , Peter Anarfi Mensah has waded into the alleged financial scandal involving the Principal of the Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College in the Ashanti Region, indicating that he is least surprised things have turned out this way.

He said GH¢10 million allegations against the embattled principal Victoria Amoah and the accountant of the institution are factual in view of a number of things he personally observed since the establishment of the health institution in 2011 coupled with his association as a board member.

“She has been collecting development levies but physically there is no development on the campus. All structures over there were built by the District Assembly” the former Minister and Board member of the institution disclosed.

“We are all worried about the situation and we are calling on the government to immediately investigate the matter and have everything resolved” he disclosed on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM.

Mr. Peter Anarfi Mensah, a native of the area attacked the Principal for her unilateral decision to transfer some teachers from the school without Knowledge of the Board just because they stood against some of the illegitimate decisions she made.

“At a point in time, the principal also championed transfers of some teachers while the school is currently under staffed”

According to the former minister, allegations made against the principal and the accountants in the media are true as far as he is concerned claiming to have evidence to buttress those allegations.

“I personally spoke to her and some of the allegations she admitted. She told me she had taken note of them… but on the transfers she denied it”

“We are not investigate body but she accepted to have taken more gallons of fuel and she apologies from her own mouth to us as Board members”
