Follow the advice of your tutors - Ofankor Mantse

Nii Klotey Boi, Ofankor Mantse and Presiding Member for Ga West Municipal Assembly, has called on students to attend to their studies and follow the advice of their tutors.

He said that is the only way they could become good and useful citizens for the country.

Nii Klotey Boi said this when he and the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Sam Atukwei Quaye paid a visit to the Adjen Kotoku Senior High School in the Ga West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.

Nii Klotey Boi also called on parents to support the education of their wards to ensure that they achieve their expectations.

Mr Quaye on his part told the students that they are the backbone of the development of the country hence the need for them to take their studies seriously.

He called on tutors to show good leadership in the classrooms for the students to emulate.

Mr Quaye later led the team to inspect some completed projects including a fire station, police post, and a healthcare centre at Adjen Kotoku constructed by the Municipal Assembly.

He said these facilities would help fight fire outbreaks, provide security and reduce crime and promote health delivery.

Okromansah Nii Armah Tackie Amoah V, Adjen Kotoku Mantse and his people who welcome the MCE and his entourage, expressed gratitude to the Assembly for the provision of the facilities and appealed for more of such projects.

Present at the meeting are Naa Baawah II, Queen-mother of Papaase, Naa Afiah Afiaman I, Queen-mother of Afiaman, Naa Aberefi I, Queen-mother of Aberefi-Faase, Nii Oko Anso I, Opah Mantse and Naa Afriyie Okropong I, Qeen-mother of Kwashie Kumah.
