Fire guts Samartex Timber company

The Samartex Timber & Plywood Company Limited at Samreboi in the Western region was yesterday gutted by fire.

Reports indicate the fire began about 7:15pm. One fire tender was at the scene but did not seem to have the capacity to douse the blaze. There no reports of human casualties yet but thousands of cedis worth of property has been damaged.
