Fire at Coral Paint headquarters brought under control - GNFS

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has contained a fire outbreak at the Coral Paint headquarters in Adabraka, preventing what could have been a significant disaster.

"Firefighters from the Industrial Area Fire Station responded promptly after a distress call was received by the Fire Master Control at approximately 12:38 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026," GNFS confirmed.

According to a report from 3news.com on May 19, 2026, the crew arrived at the scene around 12:49 p.m. and discovered that the fire had affected a recording studio on the second floor of the building.

Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical fault was the likely cause of the fire.

However, the blaze was brought under control by 1:46 p.m. and fully extinguished within three minutes.

The incident caused damage to some wooden décor and studio equipment in the affected area.

Fortunately, the Ghana National Fire Service confirmed that "there were no injuries or fatalities during the incident."
