Fight against corruption: Govt to set up complaint centers

Government is setting up a Public Complaint Centers as part of ways of fighting corruption in the country, President Mahama has revealed.

The Center is will be receiving complaints from the general public about any form of corruption they have seen or identified within the public sector.

Addressing Muslims at the Independence Square during this year’s Eid-ul Adha on Tuesday, President Mahama said the operations of these Centers would start in 2014. The president disclosed that reported act of corruption would be thoroughly investigated and culprits would be made to face the full rigors of law. The Public Complaints Centers, he added, would also receive complaints from the public about poor service delivery in any public sector.

President Mahama assured that identities of whistle blowers would not be disclosed.
