Fake Miracle Pastors - Ghanaians Warned

THE PRESIDENT and Founder of the Awakeness Chapel International in Accra, Pastor Peter Kayode Falarungbon has warned Ghanaians against emerging Church Pastors who are monetarily, cheating their congregants under the guise of miracle healings.

He noted that the gullibility of some Ghanaians has enabled these so called miracle Pastors to exploit innocent Ghanaians to their advantage.

Revealing a prophecy he claimed he had from God to these fake miracle healers through The Chronicle, he said certain Pastors were faking miracles just to get fame, importance and wealth.

'This is what God wants me to tell them that their time is at end and therefore should desist from playing God", he said.

Known popularly as Pastor Peter, the Nigerian born Man of God with a Ghanaian wife and child, said these so called miracle Pastors have been manipulating people to assume the role of an invalids through either cajoling or monetary inducements, and be "miraculously" healed before a congregation or at conventions.

"God has revealed to me that these fake Pastors are digging their own graves and the earlier they stop deceiving God and Ghanaians the better it would be for them", he said.

He noted that as Men of God, they should not lie and desist from the deceptions against the Holy Spirit, observing that God has given the power to heal to Men of God but "presently, some of these Pastors are just exaggerating their power to heal because of fame and ego.

He observed that people by nature were after miracles but such people should realise that the salvation of the soul was more important than miracles, noting that miracles without salvation was a fluke and meaningless because " It is the Word which leads people to salvation".

He was sad that some congregations see these fake Pastors as tin gods, though been poor, allowed themselves to be exploited by these Pastors and asked Christians to clothe themselves with the knowledge of Christ to avoid being tricked by these so called miracle Pastors.
