The Member of Parliament for the Kwabre East Constituency, Akwasi Gyamfi Onyina-Acheampong, has reaffirmed his commitment to community engagement and development following a series of activities on April 4, 2026.
The MP began the day by worshipping with members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church at Wadie-Adwumakaase, where he expressed appreciation for the warm reception he received.
“I felt truly welcome and was delighted to share in fellowship with such a vibrant and devoted community of believers,” he said.
Later, Onyina-Acheampong joined another congregation of the church at Sakora Wonoo as a special guest during their Singing Band Day and fundraising programme. Addressing the gathering, he delivered a message on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, drawing from the Gospel of John 3:16.
“It was a refreshing and uplifting experience, filled with heartfelt praise, inspiring music, and a strong sense of unity,” he noted, adding that he made a donation to support the church’s Singing Band.
The MP also took time after the service to interact with members of the congregation and listen to their concerns.
In the afternoon, he attended a separate fundraising event aimed at supporting the development of a community football park at Wadie-Adwumakaase. He commended residents for their initiative and pledged his continued support.
“I applaud the community for this commendable effort. I remain committed to supporting such initiatives whenever the need arises,” he said.
Reflecting on the day’s engagements, Onyina-Acheampong emphasised the importance of faith, unity, and community service.
“Moments like these remind us of the importance of faith, unity, and giving back to our communities. I look forward to continuing to serve and connect with people wherever I go,” he added.
