FLASHBACK: Nana Addo is a failure in road construction – Kwaku Boahen

In 2018, the Deputy Communications Director of the NDC, Kwaku Boahen described President Akufo-Addo as a failure when it comes to construction of roads. Unlike the Mahama-led administration, he said, the NPP has not been able to construct new roads which to him, is a failure of the ruling party.

In 2016, the National Democratic Congress’s Green Book spelt out all the achievements of Former President Mahama. However, the ruling NPP claimed that they were mere fabrications in regard to road construction projects and infrastructure.

Kwaku Boahen, made this accusation on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ when he said that, “Nana Addo has not constructed a single road. After they took over from the NDC, all the bad roads are still there”.

In October this year, Nana Akufo-Addo, assured Ghanaians that all is set for the rehabilitation of some deplorable roads in the country. He was speaking at a mini durbar in Manhyia Palace when he assured the people of Kumasi that their roads will soon receive a facelift.

“I know where I got my power from and I will not disappoint you. I will make sure all the Kumasi roads are fixed very soon,” he assured.

The Deputy Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kwaku Boahen, has said that President Nana Addo is a failure when it comes to construction of roads in the country.

According to Mr. Boahen, there has not been any new road since Nana Addo assumed office in 2016.

He made this known on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ with Kwame Afrifa Mensah.

“Nana Addo has not constructed a single road. After they took over from the NDC, all the bad roads are still there,” he claimed.

During the 2016 campaign, Nana Addo mocked the then governing NDC Party for lying about the construction of the Western Region road. Nana Addo described the road as a ghost road because he can’t see the roads they claim they have constructed.



Former President Mahama replied that then-candidate Nana Addo was sleeping whiles travelling on the Western Region road so he did not see the road he and his government had constructed.
