Young talent Luke Martey has received a call-up to the Ghana national under-17 football team as he continues to impress with his performances in the United States.

Luke Martey, who plays in the academy setup of FC Dallas, has been recognised for his versatility and strong displays in the MLS NEXT youth development system.

The 2009 born player is capable of operating both as a right winger and a right-back, offering attacking threat going forward while also providing pace and defensive stability when deployed at the back.

His call-up to the Black Starlets marks an important step in his young career and highlights the growing influence of Ghanaian talents developing in academies abroad.

Martey will now have the opportunity to showcase his qualities on the international stage as he joins the Black Starlets setup, with hopes of contributing to the future success of Ghana’s youth national teams.
