More ghost towns are springing up in Accra in conformity with the lockdown directive with the lastest place to catch the attention of GhanaWeb’s lenses being Tesano zoozoo.

The sound of a coin dropping on the roads of this area can be heard clearly as the whole neighbourhood looks deserted.

All businesses in the area, including shops have been closed down and all residents are locked up inside their various homes.

GhanaWeb’s ‘Eyes on the Ground’ spent about 30minutes exploring the neighbourhood withing that period, less than five cars used the stretch.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Friday, March 27, imposed restrictions on movements in parts of the Greater Accra and the Ashanti regions.

The order which took effect at 1:00am on Monday 30th March, will be observed for two weeks to control the spread of Coronavirus as these areas have been identified as the epicentres of the pandemic in the country.
