The Biakoye District Chief Executive, Comfort Attah has advised 2019 candidates in her district to abide by all laid down regulations of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and eschew from examination malpractice.
She stated that risking to engage in examination malpractice would jeopardize their future, as their papers could be canceled and handed a possible ban from sitting for the BECE for a period.
“Just go by the laws of the examination, do not send any foreign material to the hall, because If you are caught, that will ruin your life forever”, she said during a meeting with the BECE candidates.
Madam Attah implored the candidates not relent in their studies in the dying moments.
“This is the time you need to be hard on yourself, even if you are going to loo, take your books along, at least you will see one thing, which will remain in there”, she said.
She also encouraged them to ensure they maintain the district’s first position chalked in the 2018 BECE in the Volta and Oti Regions, by performing exceedingly well in the examinations.
She added that “you are the first BECE candidates for the Oti Region, we will not want you to disappoint us. We want you to raise the flag of Oti high, so you also take the first position. We placed first when we were 25 districts in the Volta Region, now they are 8 districts in Oti, we can place more than first”
Madam Attah, however, warned the candidates against engaging in social vices which may have dire consequences on their life, hereby, robbing them of a successful future.
She also urged to be prayerful to invite the divine favor of the Lord to guide them through the exams and give them retentive memory.
