The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Faustina Elikplim Akurugu, has visited the family of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka to commiserate with them over the death of the renowned engineer.

In a video shared by 1957 News on social media on Monday, September 15, 2025, Elikplim Akurugu is seen sharing a hug with her predecessor and the daughter of Apostle Kwadwo Safo, Sarah Adwoa Safo.

She also whispers words of condolence to the former MP before moving on to greet Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Jnr, a son of the deceased.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, a renowned Ghanaian pastor, inventor, and founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission and Kantanka Automobile, died on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the age of 77.

His passing was announced by his family and the church on September 14, 2025, via a statement signed by his daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo.
