Emmanuel Boateng hero and villain in Dalian Yifang draw

Emmanuel Boateng was both the hero and villain as Dalian Yifang were held by by Tianjin Quanjin to a 2-2 draw in the Chinese Super League.

The 23 year old bagged a brace but scored an unfortunate own goal to deny his team all three point.

The Ghanaian International restored parity in the 33rd minutes after the visitors had taken an early lead through Chinese forward Sun Ke.

Boateng was on target again seven minutes later to give his side the lead at the break.

With 28 minutes left to play, the ex-Levante forward became the villain after scoring in the wrong net to ensure both sides shared the spoils.

Emmanuel Boateng was snubbed by coach Kwesi Appiah in his squad for the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
