Ellembelle NPP parliamentary aspirant gives wheelchairs to Eikwe Hospital

The Western Regional Treasurer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) who is aspiring to be a parliamentary candidate for the party in Ellembelle Constituency, Anna Akaisi Horma Miezah has donated five (5) brand new wheelchairs for Saint Martin De Pores Hospital at Eikwe.

The donation forms part of her unflinching support and contribution to social healthcare needs of the people of Ellembelle.

Making the presentation to the management of the Hospital over the weekend, the aspirant, Horma Miezah said Eikwe in Ellembelle District is her home and their healthcare is a priority.

During her first visit, she recounted that she got sick and when she was sent to the hospital for treatment, everything was successfully and she was treated and discharged.

She further explained that as part of her unflinching support to the grassroots and polling station executives in Ellembelle Constituency, she visited some party faithfuls who were involved in an accident at the hospital and was saddened to see how patients were been carried by arms hence necessitated her timely delivery of the 5 wheelchairs.

The Aspirant seized the opportunity to thank the Chief and officers in charge of the hospital for the timely response to health issues.

The successful delivery and assistance given to patients who visit the facility, she said was commendable.

The Philanthropist promised to use her NGO, Horma Hopes Foundation to secure an ultra-modern ambulance for the hospital.

She therefore charged the management of the facility to take care of the wheelchairs to achieve it intended purpose and pleaded with other benevolent organisations to come to the aid of the hospital.

On his part, the Human Resource (HR) Manager and acting Administrator of the hospital, Mr. Daniel Bomah, thanked the Aspirant for the kind gesture.

He also prayed for her to be successful in her endeavours and then requested her assistance to get more facilities to enable the hospital to function properly and be able to attend to more patients.

Other dignitaries who were present during the donation were; the Board Member of the hospital, Mr. Moses Armah, Head of Finance, Mr. Benjamin Bansah, the Procurement Manager, Mr. Peter Kingsley Mensah, head of Audit unit, Mr. Stephen Blay, Senior Accountant and Mr. Daniel Bomah, the HR Manager and Acting Administrator as well as other nurses and midwives.
