Eleven Wonders fulfilled their fixture obligations after showing up for their Ghana Premier League clash against Hohoe United, who failed to appear on matchday.

Wonders arrived at the venue, took to the pitch and waited through to the final whistle in accordance with match regulations, effectively securing the result as Hohoe United’s absence confirmed a forfeiture.

The three points are expected to be awarded to Eleven Wonders, along with the standard three goals, pending formal confirmation by the Ghana Football Association.

However, the outcome does little to change the club’s situation, with Eleven Wonders already relegated from the league prior to the fixture.

Hohoe United’s no-show adds another layer to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the club after their announced decision to withdraw from the competition, a move that is yet to be formally acknowledged by the Ghana FA.
