Effigy of president Kufuor on postage stamp?

...KUFUOR?S PERSONALITY CULT AMBITION

According to THE GHANA PALAVER, since coming into office, President Kufuor has been itching to put his effigy on a national ?diadem? to perpetuate his memory, as having been once a president of Ghana.

President Kufuor has managed to impose his effigy on the ?1,000 Ghana postage stamp.

The paper says although ex-President Rawlings ruled Ghana for almost 20 years, he never asked for or allowed his effigy to be used either on any currency or postal stamp.

The paper therefore wonders whether President Kufuor is in a hurry to build a personality cult to be ?worshipped? by his followers, even when he is out of office after his first term.
