Education Of Pupils Responsibility Of All

Tarkwa ( W/R ), July 14 -- The Wassa West District Director of Education, Nana Kwabena Osei-Nketiah, has called on the government, parents, educationists and religious bodies to ensure that the youth put up responsible sexual behaviour. He said family planning education must be the collective responsibility of all. Nana Osei-Nketiah made the call at a symposium organised for members of Family Life Education Clubs of the Fiaseman Secondary School and the Nkroful Agricultural Secondary School. The symposium which was on the theme: Should family planning be introduced to the youth", was jointly organised by the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Nana Osei-Nketiah said African society has a broader view of family planning education which is geared towards training the youth to play their rightful role in the society.
