Ebony wows fans with epic performance at 2017 RTP Awards

She never disappoints, that’s one thing you can predict for a performance from the original 90sBagyal Dance hall artist, Pricilla Opoku-Kwarteng better known on stage as Ebony.

This year’s edition of the Radio and Television personality awards was no different as the ‘Kube’ hit maker charged the house with her spectacular performance at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra Saturday night.

Poison, and Sponsor were not left out of the acts to heat up the stage before her popular ‘banger’ Date Ur Fada featured.

The event saw high profile personalities like the National General Secretary for the opposition party NDC, Asiedu Nketia, Sammy Awuku, Joshua Alabi, and many others who graced the occasion.

Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Ken Agyapong, Osei Kwame Despite, and Kwaku Oteng were honoured at this year’s rtps for their contribution towards the growth Ghanaian media.

The night featured performances from young female Dj Switch, Kurl Songx, Eboo who made the night a memorable one.

The Radio and Television Personality Award is not only known for setting the pace in Ghana but has set a precedent for other countries like Liberia and Nigeria.

Largely marginalised and rarely recognised in the past, the RTP Awards has over the past 6 years placed presenters doing a good job in the limelight and given them deserving recognition.
