EC Gives Parties Electoral Register On CD-ROM

The Electoral Commission (EC) yesterday gave four Political Parties 10 each of the full text of the electoral register on Compact Disc Read Only Memory (CD-Rom)

With the CD Roms, the parties now have the electoral register for the December polls. They are the NDC, NPP, PNC and CPP.

The Head of Information Technology of the EC, Hubert Akomeah, said the Commission decided to make it 10 so that each CD would cover each Region.

The CDs, according to him, did not include the pictures of voters because pictures were heavy and would require a lot of CDs.
