Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the newly appointed Ashanti Regional Minister-designate, has expressed his deep gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the honour of his appointment and pledged to dedicate his tenure to creating a lasting legacy of pride for the Ashanti Region.

In his first media interaction since being named by the President, Dr. Amoakohene emphasised his commitment to ensuring that the people of Ashanti will feel vindicated in the trust they placed in the NDC and President Mahama.

Dr. Amoakohene stated that he was truly humbled by the opportunity to serve and acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with the role.

He further vowed to work tirelessly to ensure that the Ashanti Region experiences significant development and progress, thereby leaving a legacy that the people can be proud of for generations to come.

He also reiterated his gratitude to President Mahama for the trust placed in him and promised not to take that trust lightly.

He stressed that his goal is to prove to the people of Ashanti that their support for the NDC and President Mahama was not misplaced.

He pledged to work hand in hand with stakeholders across the region to drive positive change and create opportunities for all.

He also mentioned that the support of the people would be needed for the success of the projects they are about to undertake.
