Bible scholar, entrepreneur and wealth creation expert, Dr Olumide Oladapo Emmanuel, has charged men to strive to build some wealth even if they entered marriage as poor people.

The world-renowned relationship expert explained that: “When a woman tells you: ‘I love you the way you are’ does not mean ‘I love you to remain who you are’ because if you are not married, there is a way to go around stuff but don’t ever try to be married as a poor man”.

The motivational speaker and author told Benjamin Akakpo on Class91.3FM’s Executive Breakfast Show that it is not pleasant to be in a position where one is not able to cater to the needs of his family.

Dr Olumide, who is scheduled to hold this year’s free mega ‘School of Money’ conference in Accra, Ghana, from Wednesday, 19 June 2019 to Friday, 21 June 2019 said the frustration of being unable to provide for one’s family “led me to begin to say: ‘Look, enough is enough’, and the things that I learnt are the things that have helped me to create wealth and then help other people to also create wealth”.

Dr Olumide, the host of the ‘The School of Money’, ’Wisdom for Winning’, and ‘Common Sense is Not Common’ which broadcasts to millions of followers indicated that the drive to achieve knowledge resulted in his pursuance of degrees from the University of Huddersfield in the UK and Harvard Business School in the United States, having completed an undergraduate programme in Nigeria.

The author of over 30 books, who has influenced business communities in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Africa, highlighted that: “Entrepreneurship is a solution to unemployment, entrepreneurship is a solution to corruption and entrepreneurship is a solution to poverty”.

Dr Olumide was quick to add that: “When people know how to create wealth, they won’t steal”.

The business magnate was of the view that: “It is not the job of the government to create jobs [but] it is the job of the government to create infrastructure and an enabling environment for businesses to thrive”.

He is of the view that medium- and small-scale enterprises are the pillars of economic growth.

“That is why to solve the problem of Africa, we need to empower people with the right knowledge and skills to become value creators,” the Common Sense Guru added.

He stressed that knowledge has been of tremendous help to him and “not necessarily education” because “people have Master’s in Business Administration but they cannot even run a barbering saloon successfully”.

These and many others are the reasons for the organisation of the 6th edition of the summit, which promises to unleash wealth secrets and principles modelled on current developments and evolving trends around the globe.

All the sessions of the conference are free and will be held at the Paloma Hotel.

Pastors, ministers, church leaders, entrepreneurs and business leaders, especially, are encouraged to attend.
