President of Full Gospel Church International, Bishop Samuel N. Mensah has warned the youth not to slaughter themselves for politicians since the later would only make appearances at their funeral when the family is mourning after which they would move on with their lives enjoying from the nation’s coffers.

“For any human being who has reasoning to be able to say I am going to fight and kill a neighbour, a friend, because of party politics, then there’s something wrong with that,” he said.

In a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb, the man of God stated that Ghana as a country “needs people or citizens who are thinking about the future of our country, people who are patriotic about this nation and people who want to sacrifice for this nation.”

He added that the kind of apathy many citizens bring to national development is not helping the country.

Bishop Samuel Mensah further warned that patriotic citizens are not only active during elections but rather they are active doing their best to contribute to the nation’s development.

To him, the future of Ghana does not lie with either NDC or NPP because the two political parties are the woes to the progress of Ghana and the earlier Ghanaians get rid of them (NDC, NPP) the better it would be for the nation.

Bishop Samuel Mensah then called for a third force charging his congregation not to sit down.

“I am praying that God will bring in a mental revolution in this country, a metal change,” he stressed.
