Maverick Counselor, George Lutterodt has emphasized the need for the 13 Presidential Candidates who have been disqualified from contesting the December 7 election to undergo psychological counseling.

According to him, the state in which the affected Flagbearers find themselves after their shock disqualification which is a great lose to them is close to madness, adding that there’s the need for them to be assisted to go through the five stages of grieving, which include denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

The Electoral Commission after the close of nominations announced the disqualification of the 13 Presidential candidates including Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Hassan Ayariga, Dr Edward Mahama among others, following some anomalies found on their nomination forms such as fraudulent signatures and absence of a required number of signatures.

In an exclusive interview Yaa Serwah Akoto, of Kasapa FM, the controversial counselor stated that currently the Flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor is the only disqualified candidate who has arrived at the last stage of grieving as she has decided not to contest her disqualification by the Electoral Commission.

He’s confident that taking the other candidates through the counseling regime will save them from state of depression.
