‘Dishonest, troublesome’ Goosie ‘doctored’ my speech — Namoale begs Prof Alabi over ‘betrayal’

Namoale has denied endorsing Goosie Tanoh for the NDC flagbearership position Namoale has denied endorsing Goosie Tanoh for the NDC flagbearership position

The confusion rocking the camp of NDC flagbearer hopefuls Joshua Alabi and former Reform Party candidate (now NDC flagbearer hopeful) Goosie Tanoh is not ending anytime soon as Alabi’s campaign coordinator, Nii Amasah Namoale has disowned a video of him endorsing Goosie Tanoh for NDC’s February 23rd contest; calling Goosie a ‘dishonest liar’.

MyNewsGh.com learnt Namoale stormed Goosie Tanoh’s campaign meeting with delegates of La Dadekotopon and Osu on Friday the 8th of February, 2019, and on his own accord endorsed Goosie Tanoh.

Namoale (who claims to be for Alabi) was heard telling the party’s delegates in Ga to vote for Goosie Tanoh as Goosie as he is an old face of the party from the very beginning in 1992.

With the pictures of his attendance going viral after the event, Namoale found himself in a brawl with the controversial former founder of National Reform Party, Augustus Goosie Tanoh over his denial of the reports. Namoale claimed it was not true he endorsed Goosie.

The camp of Goosie Tanoh then released a video of him speaking at the event and endorsing Goosie. At the time, the news was making the roundabout a confrontation between Prof Alabi and constituency executives of Ashanti Bekwai.

The camp of Goosie Tanoh said things have fallen apart for Joshua Alabi as his campaign coordinator has jumped ship and was speaking on the campaign platform for Goosie.

In a quick rebuttal, Namoale issued a strongly worded rejoinder he recorded himself and called Goosie a “dishonest person” and a “trouble formentor”.

The campaign TEAM of Goosie yesterday early morning released a minute and a half video in which Namoale again was heard speaking in Ga dialect. In the said video, he asked delegates to “vote for Goosie Tanoh to become President”.

As at Press Time, Namoale has himself recorded another short video where he apologetically reaffirmed his belief in Prof Joshua Alabi and accused Goosie Tanoh of releasing “a professionally doctored video” and pleaded with all not to buy into the lies making rounds.

As confusing as the confusion in the two camps are, MyNewsGh.com will keep you posted as we make “sense” of the developments.
