Deputy Health Minister's bodyguard selling guns to armed robbers - NDC Man alleges

A communications officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Eric Appiah-Adjei, is alleging that a bodyguard of Tina Mensah, the Deputy Minister of Health, is selling and renting guns to armed robbers.

He made the allegation when he appeared on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm on Thursday. When he was cautioned against the allegation; he went on to emphasize that, Tina Mensah’s bodyguard rents and sell guns to armed robbers.

He said: ‘’Rainbow Radio is not responsible for this statement. Eric Appiah-Adjei should be held responsible for this allegation.’’

Eric Appiah-Adjei, who strongly defended his position went on to add that, the bodyguard of the deputy minister selling the guns is a police officer but failed to mention the name.

‘’Have you not heard that Tina Mensah’s bodyguard is selling and renting guns to armed robbers? This is not an allegation but a fact. Eric Adjei said it not Rainbow Radio.

The bodyguard is Tina Mensah’s bodyguard and they have covered it up. How can a minister’s bodyguard engage in such a criminal act? I want to emphasize again, Eric Adjei said it and not Rainbow Radio,’’ he concluded.
