A group of young men calling themselves Elephant Youth Association (OSONO) Thursday morning besieged the official residence of a Deputy Chief Of Staff, Asenso Boakye ostensibly to demand money they say owed them.

A statement which was issued by the Deputy Chief Of Staff Asenso Boakye, said “we wish to state categorically that he does not owe any person or group of persons money”.

The statement further noted that neither has the President given any money due a group of persons which according to the statement has been withheld as alleged.

The statement further urged the public to disregard any news circulating on social media and other media portals that the Deputy Chief of Staff is owing the so called OSONO which the statement said is not an identifiable group within the NPP.

“It’s a well orchestrated and vile attempt to cause disaffection and besmirch my reputation. I remain focused in performing my duties to His Excellency, the President and Government,” the statement added.

“I have since lodged a formal complaint with the police,” the statement concluded.
