Demonstration at Badu Kobi’s church over his ethnocentric comments

There is a massive demonstration currently ongoing at the church of Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, the founder, and leader of Glorious Wave International.

The demonstrators include Asante women, Fante women, Ewe women, and many other women who find his ethnocentric speech distasteful and bad for the image of Ghana.

They are holding placards with inscriptions such as Fanti women are not stupid, Asante women are not greedy, Ewe women are not clueless, etc as they chant war songs.

Badu Kobi speaking at his church last week described Ashanti women as greedy, ungrateful and untrustworthy women whom men should not marry. He also described Fante women as foolish and Ewe women as doormats.

Although there have been calls on him to apologize for the reckless statements, Badu Kobu insists he was speaking sense and he will never apologize to anyone. He described people disagreeing with him as witches.
