Dan Botwe Joins Prez Mills To Laugh

....... @ Herbert, Akomea & NPP’s 90M Tale!

Dan Kwaku Botwe, NPP MP for Okere; a man who is nursing his own Presidential ambitions for the 2016 election as it is obvious that Akufo-Addo will lose the 2012 election, has joined His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills to have a good laugh at the 90 million “toli” that was thrown into the ring by the camp of Mrs. Rawlings.

Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Programme yesterday morning, Dan Botwe joined the laughing spree and poured ice water on the fabrication. According to the man who is poised to lead the NPP after Akuffo-Addo, the 90 million figure is absolutely ludicrous.

Without mincing words, Dan Botwe said he strongly believes that the figure was a fabrication because no right-thinking person will swallow such a giant fabrication.

“I am sure Herbert wanted to say 9 million and mistakenly mentioned 90 million” Dan Botwe said.

According to Mr. Botwe, when he heard the figure, he knew immediately that there was something amiss because the figure is too colossal to be true.

Throwing more light on the matter, Dan Botwe said that in politics, people will always like to take advantage of situations but is always important that things are not over exaggerated so as to make by-standers look and listen in disbelief. It would be recalled that in the wake of Akufo-Addo’s extremely irresponsible “All die be die” war cry cum his small-minded ethnic “Yen Akanfuor” nonsense, the same Dan Botwe, on the same Metro TV platform, distanced himself from the NPP Flagbearer’s ignominious conduct.

In relation to Akufo-Addo’s “all die be die” misconduct, Dan Botwe said “I don’t agree with what Nana said and if I were the one, I would have said it differently.”

Dan Botwe most certainly seems to have a history speaking his mind that is why he is being seen as the person who can bring credibility to the NPP ticket after the party has dispensed with the low-flying services of Akufo-Addo after he loses the 2012 election.

Indeed, there is no doubt that it is Dan Botwe’s ability to speak his mind that has made it impossible for him to have a cordial working relationship with Kufuor.

It is no secret that Dan does not have an iota of respect for Kufuor’s thinking capabilities.

Indeed, it is Dan’s ability to stand up to Kufuor which made it difficult for him (Dan) to last in Kufuor’s Administration.

It is crystal clear that President Atta Mills will win by more than 95%, and so the Mrs. Rawlings camp has decided to attribute her imminent loss to vote buying hence the laughable 90 million “toli” that her camp has spewed.

Obviously working in cahoots with the NPP, once the ludicrous story was dropped on the media landscape by the camp of Mrs. Rawlings, Nana Akomea, Akufo-Addo’s Communications Director, quickly issued a statement hoping to give mileage to the fabricated story.

Unfortunately for the Mrs. Rawlings camp and its NPP allies, President Mills and right-thinking Ghanaians are having a good laugh at the most comical story ever to hit Ghana’s political landscape in recent memory.

If Akomea and co thought they were doing the President in, it is now clear that they are the ones who have thrown rotten eggs at their own faces.
