The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), has announced the re-certification registered customised vehicles.

The exercise which is expected to begin from October 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018 will see customers of the customised vehicles migrate onto a new electronic vehicle and documentation system that will enable them to enjoy better service delivery.

A statement signed and issued in Accra by the Manager, Public Relations of the DVLA, Francis Asamoah Tuffuor, on August 16, 2018 said the exercise is also meant to do away with fake customised registration of numbers in the country.

The DVLA therefore wants vehicle owners with customised registration numbers to present their registration documents to their Prestige service center at their head office for re-certification.

“Owners whose records are found to be authentic would be issued with a new certificate of title for Motor and Vehicle and a Vehicle Registration Smart Cart”, the statement in part read.
