Solomon, a victim of new ponzi scheme has revealed losing GHS30,000 he invested in Cryptocurrency business through Global Coin Community Help.

Global Coin Community Help was founded by one Kwaku Damete-Kumi and claims to be a ‘community of like-minded people all over the world who will help each other’.

According to Solomon, CEO for Global Coin Community Help, Kwaku Damete-kumi, promised his victims a 27% return on any amount they invested.

Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Solomon stated that he was convinced as a result of persuasion from a friend.

According to Solomon, he received returns on his investment for the first two months until it dawned on him that Global Coin Community Help was only another ponzi scheme.

Some victims of the alleged cryptocurrency scam in December 2018 sued the management of Global Coin Community Help (GCCH), after the company failed to pay returns as promised.

According to the victims, the decision to seek redress in court is based on the fact that efforts by the Economic and Organized Crimes Office (EOCO), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Police CID to investigate and bring the company’s directors to justice have so far yielded no positive results.
