Council of State urged to resolve differences between JJ & JAK

Senkyi (E/R), May 1, GNA - The Twafohene of Akwamu Traditional Area, Nana Okumenin Gyamerah has appealed to the Council of State and the National House of Chiefs to collaborate and help resolve the differences between the former Head of State of Ghana, Ex-President Jerry John Rawlings and President John Agyekum Kufuor.

He said the bad blood between the two leaders of the country is not good for the international image of the country and do not also promote the reconciliation that was being preached in the country. Nana Gyamerah argued that, if the leaders of the country could not tolerate each other, how could they expect those down the ladder to do same.

Nana Gyamerah was speaking at Senkyi in the Asuogyaman District on Friday when he met with media personnel. He called for the strengthening of all internal mechanism for conflict resolution in the country and the development of the proposed alternative conflict resolution concept.
