Founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has called for calm amidst the rapid spread of the global pandemic; coronavirus, noting that it will be eradicated within a short time.

The man of God who is noted for his prophecies in the country, revealed in an interview with GhanaWeb, that he was of the conviction that the antidote for the disease would be developed or found before it creates major havoc.

Renowned prophet, the founder and leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), T.B Joshua earlier predicted that the disease will be eliminated by March 27, describing the current destruction by the pandemic as the remnants.

Prophet T.B Joshua maintained that the disease was dead and as a result should not be feared.

Asked what he made of his colleague’s stance, Rev Owusu Bempah noted that although it had not been revealed to him personally, he discerned that the T.B Joshua was not far from the truth.

Former General Secretary of the Christian Council, Rev Opuni Frimpong also called for a reschedule of the date for the celebration of Easter in the country after the president placed a ban on all social gatherings for 4 weeks as a containment measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Rev. Opuni Frimpong noted that the ban would affect the date for the celebration of the global Christian festival and thus prayed leaders of the various Christian authorities to propose a new date which did not have to necessarily coincide with that of the Vatican’s.

“I’m calling on all heads of churches; Ghana Catholic Bishop Conference, Christian Council, Ghana Pentecostal, Charismatic, etc. to meet and fix Ghana’s date for the celebration of Easter. Although the date of Easter is fixed globally, in our own context, our president has given 4 weeks [of suspension], which will affect Easter,” he averred.

But the leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International posited that the country would not have to cross that bridge since the fast-spreading plague would be eradicated just as fast as it erupted.

“…We know the celebration of Easter is usually done in April… But I’m believing God that the impact of the disease(coronavirus) would have died down, even to the extent that the president will come and declare that the ban on social gatherings have been lifted.

“I doubt it will last for another month, it will be gone long before then,” Rev Owusu Bempah stated.
