As the world is fighting the deadly coronavirus, some presidents have issued a lock down on their countries in a bid to contain the pandemic.

Ghana is of no exception as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, upon several consultations with key stakeholders issued a partial lockdown on the country, effective Monday, March 30, 2020.

Some countries in either a partial or total lockdown are; South Africa, China, Rwanda, France, Italy, Germany, India, among others.

Due to the long stay at home till further notice, some pornography sites have given a free premium subscription globally to enable people watch whiles in isolation to alleviate boredom in these trying times.

These porn sites are of the view that their action will help depress people who can't cope with staying at home for long periods irrespective of the person’s geographical location.

Some Ghanaians in an interview with GhanaWeb on the new development averred that it was unnecessary for such action to be taken in this era that some countries are fighting both coronavirus and homosexuality.

They rather encouraged fellow Ghanaians to move away from this ‘satanic’ move, pick up their bibles to read and pray against the deadly pandemic which has no cure at the moment.

One of the interviewees said "As a Christian nation, we don't have to watch such a thing. What do we gain when we watch porn in our rooms for entertainment? As a Christian, you have to pick your bible and hymn book to sing and pray to God to help us overcome this pandemic".

Others who spoke to the news team also advised that Ghanaians could watch Kumawood movies when bored to entertain themselves instead of resorting to these free porn sites for pleasure.

Whiles some health experts among other professionals have lauded government for the action taken, others, on the other hand, are of the view that majority of Ghanaians will be affected by the decision since people find it difficult to provide three square meals for themselves.
