A convict in the cells of the Sarpeiman Police Station at Wachild, near Amasaman, has fled from the cells.

The police are said to have mounted a manhunt for the convict, whose name has been given as Bishop Dogbey.

The 21-year-old convict, who was born in Kofi Mante-Nsawam, was arrested by the Nima Police for the offence of stealing at Odorkor where he resides.

He was convicted at the Adjaben Court in Accra.

Anybody information about his whereabouts should kindly inform the Amasaman Police or the nearest police station.
