Confusion hits Adentan NDC

Current happenings in the Adentan Constituency branch of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) points to the fact that both the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) and the Constituency Executive have no interest in maintaining the seat which they have held onto for the past eight years.

Constituency Executives likewise the 2016 PC had all gone to into comatose immediately after the party’s parliamentary primaries held on the November 21, 2015.

They asked how any mature and serious minded politician can behave the way the NDC PC had portray just after the parliamentary primaries. What we want them especially the Parliamentary Candidate to understand is that winning the party’s primaries which was full of flops and manipulations is different from national elections. Today can authoritatively say that the Regional Executives had also notice the sharp decline of party activities in the constituency ahead of the 2016 presidential and parliamentary election. To this end, the constituency executives were dragged to the regional office.

According to a deep throat source at the region, the regional executives did not take kindly to the poor handling of issues by the current crop of constituency executives and particularly the PC.

The Adentan Constituency held its parliamentary primaries on the November 21, 2015 to endosed the President John Dramani Mahama and a parliamentary Candidate to represent the party come November, 7, 2016.

eventhough four individuals contested in that elections including the Incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the whole show was reduced to a two horse race, between the incumbent MP and Mr. Mohammed Adamu Ramadam, the son of the PNC Chairman.

Mr. Adamu Ramadam however pulled 2,387 votes out of the 4,018 total valid votes cast to unseat the sitting MP, who managed to pull only 1,130.

The Adenta NDC has a damming record of changing their parliamentary candidate every election year. At the end of the contest, Mr. Ramadam pulled 2,387 votes out of the 4,018 total valid votes cast to unseat the sitting MP, who managed to pull only 1,130.

The other two are: Madam Kakra Vanlare a former MCE and Mallam Issah an erstwhile Sports Minister under the Kuffour led NPP Government.
