Confederation Cup: Aduana Stars to face ES Setif in final round qualifiers

Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana Stars will face Algerian side, ES Setif in the final qualifying round of the 2018 CAF Champions League.

The Fire Boys defeated Al Tahaddy 2:0 in the second league on Wednesday to progress 2-1 on aggregate.

However, the Algerian side also advanced against Central African Republic side Olympic Real de Bangui thanks the 6-0 first leg win at home.

The first leg of the clash will be played in Dormaa between 6-7 March and the return leg at the Stade 8 Mai 1945 in the city of Setif.

Aduana Stars are now Ghana's only representatives in Africa following Kotoko's exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 6-7 on penalties after the two- legged tie ended 1-1 in regulation time.

No Ghanaian side has won a continental title since Hearts of Oak won the Confederation Cup in 2004
