Conditions of Service For Ministers

The Daily Dispatch has complied for readers, conditions of service for Ministers of State as contained in the Greenstreet Committee’s Report.

Readers are to note that new conditions of service are being worked on. Below are excerpts of those for a Minister:

 SALARY            A125 (max) 

 ACCOMODATION:

 Free fully furnished (or 20% of basic salary)
 
 TRANSPORT:       Free chauffeur-driven car 
 Maintenance: Six domestic staffers free 
 
 ALLOWANCES: 

 Duty            50% of basic salary
 Special         30% of basic salary
 Entertainment   35% of basic salary
 Clothing        10% of basic salary 
 Constituency*   25%
