Concerns raised about indiscipline among young politicians

The Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has expressed worry about the high level of politicisation of issues of national interest.

His comments follow the division among some political actors over the Referendum. Apostle Nyamekye, was speaking at a ceremony at Bolgatanga in the Upper West Region, where he donated a mini-bus to the leadership of the Church in the Region to enhance evangelism.

He bemoaned the high level of indiscipline among some young politicians. The Mini-bus donated to the leadership of the Church in Bolgatanga was aimed at enhancing the activities of the evangelical team of the church to win more souls through effective evangelism.

Visits, follow up, counselling and nurturing of new converts and backsliders are other spots where the evangelical team of the church operates.

In an interview with GBC NEWS, the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, said the aim of the church is to raise good young men and women to take up leadership positions in the country.

He expressed worry about the high level of indiscipline among young politicians in the country. Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye described the ongoing mixed reactions about the upcoming referendum as unfortunate.

The Church of Pentecost in the Upper East Region has over the years grown from strength to strength.
